The distance is competitive and consists of a series of qualifying rounds (40/45 swimmers per drum) and a final. The final 5 riders of each battery and the best 10 times of the unskilled will have access to the final race. The classification will be drawn only on the FINAL RACE.

It’s a non competitive distane in relay mode: Man-Woman-Man
Every team must be composed by 3 athletes:
The course must be completed by each member of the relay team.
The first athlete starts with the first athletes of other teams.
The second athlete starts when his first teammate completes his course; the changing will happen out of the water, on the beach, near the staring point and will be valid by a touch between the two athletes.
The third component at the end of his course, has to go to the finish line to end the race of his team.

Competitive race consisting of the combined of two distances: the SHORT race (1800 m) on Saturday May 24th and the CLASSIC race (3200) on Sunday May 25th.
The ranking will be drawn up with the sum of the times of the two races.
